Mr. Grodman established IDO in 1990. He has 30 years of business development, resource mobilization and project management experience. His accomplishments include the successful planning and supervision of international development projects in Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Middle East. He has been an invited speaker and moderator at international conferences hosted by The World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, and various European governments. Mr. Grodman has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy from the University of Massachusetts in the United States, and a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom. A dual national of Sweden and the United States, he speaks English, French and Swedish.
Dr. Savedoff is an Economist and Senior Partner at Social Insight, an international consulting firm that conducts economic and political analyses of public policy. He is currently working on aid effectiveness issues with the Center for Global Development, as well as with The World Bank on health sector governance.
Dr. Savedoff's expertise is related to improving the quality of social services in developing countries. In addition to his work on development projects in Latin America, Africa and Asia, he has published on labor markets, health, education, water and housing. Dr. Savedoff received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Harvard University, and his Master of Arts and PhD in Economics from Boston University. Dr. Savedoff speaks English, French, Portuguese and Spanish. |
Mr. Hinsch has extensive experience in the field of nutrition and in the humanitarian aid sector, particularly in the fields of health and disaster rehabilitation. He has managed and coordinated long-term projects in South and South-East Asia, focused on the prevention and control of malaria and HIV/AIDS, as well as projects in the agriculture, construction and income generation sectors. He holds a postgraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Trier in Germany and a Master of Business Administration (MBA/IOMBA) from the University of Geneva in Switzerland. Mr. Hinsch is a German national and speaks English, French and German.
Mr. Sigbéogo, an expert in technical education and vocational training, has more than 15 years of professional experience throughout francophone Africa. He has a proven track record in formulating, implementing, and evaluating national and regional training programs, in helping government ministries to improve their countries' vocational training policies, and in developing strong partnerships between educational institutions and private enterprises. Mr. Sigbéogo has received university degrees in mechanics from the University of Rouen in France and in general studies from the University of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso, as well as an advanced diploma in specialized studies from the École Inter-États d'Ingénieurs de l'Équipement Rural in Burkina Faso. Ms. Judith Fiss
Project Manager
Ms. Fiss has significant experience managing development projects in Africa, Asia and Central Europe. Her responsibilities have included project formulation, supervision and evaluation missions, and arranging partnerships with international organizations, private companies and foundations. A social rehabilitation expert, Ms. Fiss has worked on issues such as HIV/AIDS, migration, and demobilization, reinsertion and reintegration. She has a degree in Social Work from the Institut d'Etudes Sociales in Geneva, Switzerland, as well as a post-graduate certificate in Conflict and Development. A dual national of Switzerland and the United Kingdom, Ms. Fiss is bi-lingual (English and French). |
